Description
Desi summer squash is a very rare heirloom variety that grows quickly making it perfect for shorter season areas like the PNW. The small round squash start out a pale green and ripen to a bright yellow color. They are best harvested when they are still shiny and green and smaller than a baseball, which is when they are the most tender.  The compact plants make them a great choice for those with limited garden space.
