Desi Summer Squash
Description
Desi summer squash is a very rare heirloom variety that grows quickly making it perfect for shorter season areas like the PNW. The small round squash start out a pale green and ripen to a bright yellow color. They are best harvested when they are still shiny and green and smaller than a baseball, which is when they are the most tender. The compact plants make them a great choice for those with limited garden space. Life Cycle

Squash are heavy feeders and prefer very fertile soil with good drainage. They require consistent moisture for good growth. pH 5.8 to 6.8 Sunlight Preference
