Takara F1 Shishito Pepper
Shishito peppers are becoming very popular as an appetizer at restaurants and for good reason - they are mild, flavorful, and delicious! Takara is a very productive and early producing variety and will be one of the first peppers you harvest in the summer. Shishitos will get sweeter when they ripen to a red color, but they are traditionally eaten at the green stage by charring them and tossing them in olive oil, lime juice, and sea salt. One of our favorite summer treats!
