Red Flame cayenne is a red rocket type with long slender fruits that ripen to a bright red color. The peppers quickly dry down to be ground into red peppers flakes for pizza or pasta. The fresh ripe peppers can also be fermented and turned into Louisiana-style hot sauce. Bright flavor and a good amount of heat make these peppers a real treat! Registers about 40,000 Scoville Heat Units.
