The Lemon Spice jalapeno is a creation of the breeding program at New Mexico State University. An early jalapeno was bred with a bell pepper and the resulting pepper is an early jalapeno that ripens to yellow and has a spicy and fruity flavor. A beautiful plant that stands out in the garden and is delicious as well!
