Tip Top Alaska Salmon Nasturtium
Tip Top Alaska Salmon nasturtium is the salmon colored variety from the Alaska series. The compact mounding plants feature variegated white and green leaves for a wonderful contrast in the garden. The leaves and flowers are both edible and have a bold peppery flavor similar to arugula, but definitely unique their own way. Keep flowers deadheaded to promote blooms from mid-summer all the way to first frost.
Well-draining soil with medium fertility soil. *Note - too much nitrogen will grow plants with more leaf mass and less blooms.
Full sun or partial shade
Transplant Nasturtium in the garden in spring as soon as danger of frost has passed. Nasturtium can also be planted directly into the garden by seed. Space plants 12" apart.
