Scarlet Kale
Description
Scarlet kale is a true nutrient powerhouse. The scarlet coloration deepens in cold weather and is a result of antioxidant accumulation in the plant. Tolerant of both frost and summer conditions. Plants mature to about 2 to 3 feet tall if left to grow to their full size. Can also be harvested for baby greens as well. Life Cycle

Kale prefers the cooler weather of spring and fall, but will grow during the summer with plenty of water. Transplant kale mid-spring through summer. Kale transplanted in mid-summer will be ready for harvest in the cool nights of fall. Days to Maturity
