Greek Dwarf Basil
Greek Dwarf basil is a tidy and very compact basil plant that only reaches 6" to 8" tall and can be well manicured into a small mound. It's great for planter boxes or container gardens. This heirloom has a sweet and slightly spicy basil flavor perfect for Mediterranean dishes such as Caprese salad or bruschetta.
Prefers well-draining soil with medium fertility and neutral pH (6.8 to 7.0) Add lime to the soil if too acidic.
Basil only grows well in warm weather and can be damaged by temperatures below 50 degrees. Transplant out into the garden when temperatures have reached at least 70 degrees during the day and 50+ degrees at night.
