Armenian cucumbers are a wonderful summer treat. They are actually not cucumbers at all, they are technically a melon, but have all of the wonderful cucumber flavor without any bitterness. The fruits grow to 2 to 3 feet, but they are best if harvested at 12" to 15". Grow on a trellis for straighter fruits.
Prefers well-draining soil with high fertility. pH 5.5 to 7.0
Keep the soil evenly moist throughout the growing season
Cucumbers prefer the warm weather of summer. Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed.
